Stunt flying planes will make the gulf of Balatonfüred loud again during the first days of July. Because of the buzz of last year the first race of the Grand Aero Challenge airtriathlon will be held by the beaches of the Balaton-side city on July 1 and 2. The race is again attended by many international competitors. Stunt pilots are flying in from e.g. Italy, Slovakia and also Slovenia. Nigel Hopkins is the one flying the greatest distance to get here, from South-Africa. Hungary is represented by Zoltán Veres aerobatics European Champion and multiple Guiness recorder, who won last year’s synchronized stunt flying, freestyle categories and stood the highest in the overall standing sas well. This year the enquirers can not only enjoy the moments of the race from the beach, the organisers also prepared different water and air programs are also prepared for the greatest amusement of the crowd. After the Balatonfüred competition is closed, the participants of the airtriathlon are racing again in Brassó, on August 14. |
