The media registration for the Grand Aero Challenge stuntflying air triathlon in Balatonfüred, 1-2 July 2010, has started. The Grand Aero Challenge is the side event of the 42nd Blue Ribbon race. The extraordinary event will take place above the lake Balaton. The crew of renowned international stunt pilots are trying a fall with each other in three events. - First in synchronized flying, when the two racers fly in perfect syncron abreast. - The second event is the balloon hunt, when a constantly elevating balloon has to be blown by the rotor of the planes. - The third event is the freestyle aerobatics performed to music. The world’s most renowned stunt flyers accepted the invitation of Zoltán Veres aerobatics European Champion and multiple Guiness-recorder. From the Tagore Promenade, along with the noted pilots the audience will have a chance to see the world’s cutting edge aerobatics planes. MXS, MX-2 and titled members of the German Extra family are competing by the shore of the Balaton. The event is being followed by wide press attendance, therefor the organisers ask media representatives to ease the work with the registration.
