After the Hungarian and the European flight days season Zoltán Veres aerobatic European Champion and multiple Guiness recorder is appearing on other continents with his not-everyday air show. Last time he was invited to the opening and closing ceremonies of the Asian parachute continent and world championships, which took place int he United Arab Emirates between 31st October ans 7th November.

The spot of the event was in Fujairah, UAE, a far-lying destination for an Extra-300 aerobatic plane. Of course the organisers also knew this fact and considered Zoli’s guest show so important that they sent an extra cargo plane to carry the aerobatic machine to the spot. The East Wing’s An-12 aeroplane landed in Tököl. The red-and-white painted, HA-NEM blottered Extra, after dismounting its wings was taken to the cargo plane. Zoltán Veres and his crew travelled with their plane to the arabic country.

The Hungarian European champion was the only non-parachuter participant of the event. During the opening and closing ceremonies, besides parachuter shows the crowd could really enjoyed the aerobatic flights of Zoltán Veres. Zoli is known for his special flying, and he included specialities into this show also. He was flying in bond with two parachuters, ha made arbors and somersaults around the para gliders, and of course the liberation of the balloon consisting of many spheres after cutting a ribbon also took place.

Nearly four hundred parachuters from thirtysix countries participated the event. In the different categories in both the single and the team competitions Chinese parachuters were standing on the top level of the podium.
